The Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and Vanguard did not do too well as per expectations. The reactions and responses of fans were mixed; however, the community is anxiously waiting for the next entry into the franchise. A piece of exciting news is on the line that the next version of COD which is rumored to be a sequel to Modern Warfare (2019) will be having a DMZ mode inspired by the game “Escape from Tarkov”

The DMZ mode will reportedly feature a little battle royale mode allowing you to collect guns and all your progress will be lost once you get killed.

The news was leaked by Tom Henderson over Twitter. Regarding this “DMZ” mode, he shared the following details

“This will be the first Call of Duty title that has had a true 3-year development cycle with no hiccups/change of direction.”

Henderson says that fans should be excited about the game. The game has been in development since 2018 so a gem is in the works for the fans for sure.

Our fingers are crossed about this mode and game and hopefully, it will turn out as great as per expectations.
