Just like other multiplayers, GTA Online has had its good amount of cheaters in the past, from money cheats to god mode hack.

Some hacks have been a little disruptive, such as giving players hats or turning them into huge bouncy balls.

While Rockstar Games has put an end to many GTA Online cheats, its still common to drop into a session with a hacker. But it appears as Rockstar is still not doing much about all the complaints.

Australian YouTuber TGG said that they tried to help Rockstar Support after they ran into cheaters in a PC lobby, but there solution was to find a new lobby.

The Youtuber, who is about to hit a million subs, claimed hackers are brute forcing their was into PC private lobbies, which thus making it impossible to avoid them. Rockstar is not doing anything about these hackers unlike there competitors Epic Games and others.

“When people who have paid $60 for your game and continue to pay money through Shark Cards and support this game long-term, and you just completely ignore them when they’re having issues, especially with a common issue like cheating, that in 2021 should be somewhat easy to fix, when issues like that you’re just completely silent about, it just make everyone in the community feel absolutely worthless,” he said.

As noted before, the devs at Rockstar have cracked down on many cheat sellers, but a google search will bring up many more that still work.

Just as other games found, it can be very difficult to stop hackers overall – as players find a way to use cheats if they really want to.
