A renowned gaming leaker has poured cold water on the recent rumors that GTA 6 could be releasing sooner than some fans initially thought.
Dexerto “The debate surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6’s supposed release date, and year, has been raging for quite some time. Some fans believed that Rockstar would finally release the game in 2020, but that didn’t happen. As we approach the midway point of 2021, more rumors have been flying after some fans found that the game developers were searching for game testers, believing it was linked to GTA. One leaker suggested that the testers weren’t for GTA 6, as Rockstar apparently have that pencilled in for a 2023 release. However, others have dismissed that claim and believe it’s going to be an even longer wait.”
There were doubts on the 2023 release, and claims saying that it may come even sooner than that, by Okami13, who has dropped details about Call of Duty in the past.
The gamers quote tweeted a post that stated that GTA 6 might be finished, given the rumors about Rockstar wanting game testers.
“Hate to break it to y’all but GTA 6 is at least 4-5 years away,” Okami tweeted. “I’d be shocked if we had it in our hands before 2025.”
As some fans pointed out in the comments, the game testers are likely wanted in order to test the enhanced version of GTA 5 that is set to release for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S in late 2021.
While it’s a whole new upgraded version of the near-decade-old game, it will still need testing by outside players, just to make sure Rockstar haven’t missed anything in their own testing process.
“The wait for GTA 6 will continue to rumble on for quite some time, and who knows as to exactly when we’ll all be able to play it.”
Dexerto says “xQc has always been a lone wolf in many ways. Generally, he likes to stream on his own rather than collaborating with other streamers. And when he does collaborate with them, it leads to drama more often than not. For example, he clashed with streamers like Pokelawls and Myth on the OfflineTV Rust server before quitting. Then, when he moved onto GTA RP, he got banned multiple times following clashes with other streamers like MOONMOON before moving on. Heck, he even rage-quit from a Monopoly game. But interestingly enough, butting heads with other streamers isn’t the reason why he’s now “done” with collaborations. It turns out that something else bothers him much
It’s very easy to say that GTA 6 has become one of the most-anticipated games of all time. Despite Rockstar remaining mum on all things rumors and leaks, some of which seem more credible than others, some employees may have let GTA news slip through the cracks. “Primarily, a couple of employees known for their work on Grand Theft Auto games made headlines in recent weeks after some of their social media posts surfaced, appearing to hint at the next Grand Theft Auto title.” GTA 6 clues on social media Notably, Soundtrack Manager and Music Supervisor Tony Mesones shared a photo of Miami to
Joining Call of Duty in an effort to add some suspicion to proceedings, Fortnite is allegedly due to get an Among Us style mode. Initially released in June 2018, the indie hit from developers InnerSloth experienced an immense boom in popularity in 2020 as streamers from across the globe flocked to it. Some streamers have bailed on the party game, but there are plenty still playing it on a regular basis. Among Us had a crossover with Fall Guys in March of 2021, but it now it looks like Fortnite will also link up with the game. When is Among
