Ever since Cyberpunk 2077 was announced their were many questions about the map in Cyberpunk which is called Night City. Now of course any open world game will have a huge map with many things to do. Any open world game will always be compared to the King of open world game GTA 5.
Cyberpunk’s open world location Night City has been the subject of many conversations and has been compared to the infamous Grand Theft Auto 5. While players half to wait for screenshots or images to make their way onto the internet, there have been some leakers digging up information to get a rough idea of what it will look like.
Sportskeeda.com states “According to leaks from GadgetGang, the in-game screenshots of Cyberpunk 2077’s map look extremely promising, and an adventure to rival the likes of The Witcher 3 (in terms of hours of content) is on offer.”
It’s pretty obvious that this dense open world is packed with content as promised by the CDPR. Players not only have a lot of room to have fun in this map but have hours of content and have incentive to go explore the map.
Sportskeeda.com also states “Cyberpunk 2077’s open-world design focuses on providing ample gameplay variety apart from just sheer size.
In contrast, GTA 5’s open world features content that is spread far apart, and the player may not even get to see the boundaries of the map.
That contrast exists mainly because GTA simply isn’t an RPG like Cyberpunk 2077, and its focus isn’t on gameplay variety or numerous side quests.”
In addition to the Night City map stretching out, the CDPR has also focused on expanding the map vertically, which means a lot of the insides of the building will take up a lot of the map. While Cyberpunk might now blow GTA 5 out the water in terms of how far the map goes, Cyberpunk has beaten them in the interiors of building’s.
